Rangers v Dundee injury news: Doctor shares Ryan Jack update

Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack is expected to be ruled out v Dundee due to a muscular injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

Gers visit Dens Park on 17 March as they’ll look to end the weekend with a win and at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

The injury expert suspects it could be a muscular issue which would rule him out, unless there’s a development behind the scenes.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “Not much information was given other than it’s a small injury so it’s difficult to read more into that.

“You always hope it’s just a knock rather than something muscular which tends to take longer.

“If it has been a while, there is a chance it could be muscular.

“I reckon he’s still injured unless there’s been a development behind the scenes.”

Ryan Jack has struggled to be available for Rangers selection

The Scotland international has been having injury issues all season and appears to be struggling to return to full fitness.

The 32-year-old played 13 minutes in the first leg against Benfica but is facing a spell on the sidelines once again.
