Rangers suffer ‘big blow’ after what happened to Dujon Sterling v Hibernian – BBC Sport pundit
Rangers have suffered a “big blow” after losing Dujon Sterling to injury against Hibernian, according to BBC Sport pundit Billy Dodds.
The Gers ace went off after 34 minutes in the Scottish Cup quarter-final clash at Easter Road on Sunday (10 March).
The visitors won the match 2-0, with John Lundstram and Fabio Silva scoring as Jordan Obita and Nathan Moriah-Welsh saw red for the hosts.
“It’s a big blow for the lad,” Dodds said on BBC Sportsound (6.05pm, 10 March). “The way he’s been performing in the game so far, he’s been different class.”

The Gers have been unfortunate with injuries in recent times, and now it seems that Sterling has become the latest player to be sidelined.
It comes at a busy period for the Ibrox outfit, with the versatile ace having been in fine form after being handed regular minutes by Clement.
Summer signing Sterling has now made 26 Gers appearances, netting his first goal for the club in the 2-2 Europa League round of 16 first leg draw at Benfica on Thursday (7 March).
He was certain to start the return leg at Ibrox, but it seems that Clement will have to do without him when the Portuguese giants come to Glasgow.
The man in the dugout does have other players to call upon, but he will be keen to have his injured players back as soon as possible.

There isn’t just European football on the line, with a tense Scottish Premiership title race ongoing with fierce rivals Celtic, along with Scottish Cup action following the win against Hibs.
