Rangers: Philippe Clement has easy Fabio Silva transfer decision after what Wolves loanee said
Rangers are really going strong under Philippe Clement, with the manager completely turning things around at Ibrox.
Not so long ago, the Glasgow giants were struggling under Michael Beale, but the Belgian has made fans forget all about those problems from earlier in the season.
Their latest triumph came in the Scottish Cup, with the Gers progressing to the semi-finals after a 2-0 quarter-final win over Hibernian on Sunday (10 March).
Scoring the second goal of the game was Fabio Silva, who is currently on loan at Ibrox from Premier League outfit Wolves.
As quoted by BBC Sport, the striker has now expressed his desire to make the move permanent, saying: “I don’t control these things 100%. It’s not 100% my decision to stay, if it was up to me then maybe yes. But I could say ‘yes’ and then you have a lot of things still to be taken care of.
“Perhaps I have the least input into whether I stay here but we have two months to enjoy the football, to win titles and I think after that, if we win trophies and everything goes well, Rangers and I will do everything for me to stay.”
Will Wolves loanee Fabio Silva make a permanent move to Rangers?
The comments will absolutely delight the Ibrox faithful, with the Wolves loanee shining brightly after some initial struggles in Scotland.
But his comments should also be analysed by Clement, who must simply do all he can to convince the Ibrox board to do their utmost to make the deal permanent.
Wolves’s stance, of course, must also be taken into consideration, but the player could be allowed to leave Molineux given his lengthy struggles there.
Silva is scoring some important goals across various competitions at his temporary club, with the Gers still on for a phenomenal quadruple.

Having already lifted the League Cup this season, the Ibrox club are in the latter stages of the Scottish Cup and Europa League, with a tense Scottish Premiership battle with fierce rivals Celtic ongoing.
