Rangers predicted XI v Motherwell: Philippe Clement drops John Lundstram

Philippe Clement could look to make a few changes as Rangers look to continue their good run of form and beat Motherwell.

Gers play host to Motherwell at Ibrox on Saturday, 2 March, and a win will ensure they end the weekend at the top of the league.

They currently sit two points clear of rivals Celtic and both sides have played the same number of games.

Clement will be without Cortes for this one who is working with a specialist and there is no timeframe on his return.

Kemar Roofe and Ryan Jack are available for selection and while it may be too soon for the former, the latter has made these one-off starts as he looks to regain match sharpness.

Tom Lawrence is also fit and is expected to retain his spot in the side.

On the other hand, three Motherwell players will be missing in action for the game on Saturday.

Four changes on the cards for Rangers

Cortes’ absence will see Scott Wright probably getting the nod to be named in the starting eleven.

Cyriel Dessers has impressed recently and will come in for January loan signing Fabio Silva.

In midfield, John Lundstram, who has been linked with an exit as his contract runs out at the end of the season, could be dropped and given rest with Jack coming in for him.

Ridvan Yilmaz, who has been exceptional since the turn of the year should come back in at left-back to replace Borna Barisic.
