Rangers: Tom English reacts live on BBC after what he saw in Kilmarnock
Tom English was left wowed by Kilmarnock in the middle of the Scottish Premiership clash against Rangers on Wednesday 28 February.
Despite travelling to Rugby Park on an incredible run, Philippe Clement’s side found themselves 1-0 down from the penalty spot.
Thankfully, Rangers came out of the traps in the second half and turned things around very quickly, as James Tavernier and Tom Lawrence found the back of the net to seal a 2-1 win.
Speaking during the half-time break live on BBC Radio Scotland on 28 February, English was wowed by what he saw in the opening 45 minutes before it all turned around.
“Kilmarnock doing what Kilmarnock do,” he said [20:41].
“Incredible.”
Rangers take centre-stage on the BBC again
It was nowhere near good enough in the opening 45 minutes, with the likes of Borna Barisic stinking out Rugby Park and letting his teammates down.
A lot is said about penalties being given to Rangers, but there can be no complaints over this one, although it could have been avoided easily.
Once Barisic went off, his opposite full-back did it once again with an amazing free-kick, which was then followed by that long overdue Lawrence strike.
Clement will be delighted by the recovery powers of his side, with the rotation that he likes during these busy periods still delivering points consistently.

The three points were important in games such as these, with Celtic dropping points against the same opposition only days ago at Parkhead.
What a turnaround by the famous blues.
