Rangers news: Next step claim made on Bailey Rice Ibrox future

A loan exit from Ibrox is viewed as the next logical step for Rangers midfielder Bailey Rice, according to the Daily Record.

The Scottish newspaper reported on its website on 28 February that there is “difficulty” for him to get regular game time at the club.

There are understood to be high hopes for the teenager who has mentioned often in the same breath as Ross McCausland.

Rice must seal Rangers loan exit

Loan spells can provide invaluable experience and development opportunities for young players like Rice.

At just 17, Rice has already made significant strides in his career, making his debut for Rangers at a remarkably young age.

However, regular playing time at a high level is crucial for his continued growth and maturation as a player.

A loan move would afford the midfielder the chance to gain vital first-team experience in a competitive environment, where he can hone his skills and adapt to the demands of senior football.

Moreover, playing regularly elsewhere would allow Rice to showcase his abilities and potentially catch the eye of Rangers’ coaching staff upon his return.

It would also offer him the opportunity to learn different styles of play, work under new coaches, and face varying tactical challenges, all of which are essential for his development as a well-rounded footballer.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement
Philippe Clement has overseen an excellent turnaround at Rangers.

It remains to be seen if Philippe Clement is also of the opinion that letting him leave on loan is a good idea.
