Neil Lennon has waxed lyrical over John Souttar after what he did in the 5-0 Rangers victory over Hearts on Saturday, 26 February.

The Gers centre-back was one of the standout players at Ibrox as they went five points clear at the top of the league for the time being.

Celtic won on Sunday, but still are playing catch up in the Scottish Premiership.

Lennon a BBC pundit said (26 February) on PLZ Soccer Show at 5:08: "The ball from Souttar to Dessers for the third goal was fantastic so they're in a good place at the minute and Celtic have to stay on their teals."

Souttar shows his worth to Rangers

Rangers are showcasing championship-winning form with their dominant performances on the pitch.

Their victory over Hearts exemplifies their prowess, with players like Cyriel Dessers, Oscar Cortes and Fabio Silva delivering standout performances.

Notably, their ability to maintain momentum despite missing key players like Todd Cantwell and Kemar Roofe just returned from injury speaks volumes about the depth and resilience of the squad.

Moreover, Rangers' consistent run of victories, including nine consecutive wins prior to the Hearts match, demonstrates their unwavering determination and focus.

Even though Celtic secured a win, Gers' two-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table underscores their resilience and determination to clinch the title.

Their potent attacking play, coupled with solid defensive performances, suggests that they are a force to be reckoned with in the title race.

With increasing confidence and belief within the team, Clement's side are proving themselves to be formidable contenders for the crown, appearing unstoppable as they march towards potential glory.
