Rangers ace Abdallah Sima sends message to Fabio Silva after 5-0 thrashing v Hearts

Rangers star Abdallah Sima has sent a message to Fabio Silva after the 5-0 thrashing of Hearts at Ibrox.

The on-loan Wolves man scored the final goal of the Scottish Premiership encounter on Saturday (24 February).

His fellow winter January signings Mohamed Diomande and Oscar Cortes also scored, with Cyriel Dessers bagging a brace.

Silva took to Instagram to celebrate the victory, writing the words: “Huge win,” with his Ibrox teammate Sima among those commenting on the post.

Silva needed a little bit of time to settle into life in Scotland following his temporary switch from Premier League club Wolves.

But he is now flying high, repaying the faith shown in him by Philippe Clement with some very important moments in blue.

Fellow recent recruits Diomande and Cortes also stepped up against the Jambos, who were blown away at Ibrox despite going into the match on a superb run of form.

The hosts were on another level from the very first minute, with the home supporters treated to a five-star display in Glasgow.

Summer signing Sima, who is also on loan at the Ibrox club from the Premier League, is unfortunately watching on from the sidelines due to injury, but his side aren’t exactly missing the attacker at this moment in time.

The hard work must continue, however, with Celtic certain to bounce back under Brendan Rodgers as they aim to get their top spot back.
