Rangers claim potential future Ibrox star
Rangers fans should certainly be excited about the potential of 16-year-old Allen, who has expressed his delight in making the switch to Scotland from Merseyside.
The deployment of youngsters by Philippe Clement so far this season should give the new transfer every hope that he can find a route to the senior team with enough hard work and development.
Ross McCausland is the prime example that it is possible to earn a senior debut under the current manager, having also gone on to make his international debut with Northern Ireland.

Robby McCrorie, Dujon Sterling, Leon King, Mohammed Diomande and Oscar Cortes are all examples of the trust Clement holds in his youngsters at the club, and Allen could be the next biggest talent at Ibrox.
Of course, Allen will need a couple of years to develop properly and learn the Rangers way, but there are very real opportunities for him to perform for one of the biggest clubs in the UK, a chance not offered to many young talents.
In other Rangers, a disgraceful video clip of Michael Beale at Sunderland shows why Gers are much better now.
