Rangers: Disgraceful Michael Beale video clip at Sunderland shows why Gers are now better off
A video has emerged of Sunderland manager Michael Beale and that precisely shows why Rangers fans will be glad he’s not in charge of the club.
Black Cats’ Trai Hume offered to shake Beale’s hand after being brought off in the 2-1 defeat against Birmingham on 17 February.
He then issued a statement that he apologised to Hume, but this could just be him saving face more than anything.
Beale left Rangers in a worse place than when he took over
The footage from the EFL Championship game reflects poorly on his likability and interpersonal skills.
Beale’s failure to form genuine bonds with players at Ibrox suggests a lack of rapport and leadership, undermining his effectiveness as a manager.
Despite his previous role as Steven Gerrard’s assistant at Rangers, Beale’s inability to foster positive relationships and leave a positive impact on the club’s atmosphere casts doubt on his capabilities.
This incident underscores perceptions that Beale may have been overrated due to his association with Gerrard rather than his own managerial merits.
Rangers are flying under Philippe Clement
The Belgian took over from Beale and it looked like it was going to be another disappointing campaign for the 55-time SPFL winners.
However, it can be argued that Gers are now the favourites to win the title and Celtic’s decline has played some part in that.
Clement’s imparted a proper playing style and the players are adapting well to his strong leadership at the helm.
In other Rangers news, a recent £10m claim has emerged directly having long-term consequences Gers and the supporters will certainly be fuming with it.
