Nicolas Raskin and Borna Barisic axed – Predicted Rangers XI v Ross County
Philippe Clement could be set to make several changes to his Rangers starting lineup for their SPFL clash with Ross County on Wednesday night.
The Bears claimed a routine 2-0 win over Ayr in the Scottish Cup in the weekend, with the boss making several changes to his team for the game as he prepares for a busy schedule and a title race.
But with a return to league action now there are several positions up for grabs in the team due to injuries and general fitness, leaving some decisions to be made.
Rangers must stay defensively solid v Ross County
One of the most impressive things about Clement’s reign so far has been how good the team has been defensively, and that is in part due to the fact Jack Butland has shone and he will continue in goal.
Ahead of him James Tavernier and Connor Goldson remain indispensable to the Ibrox club, but Clement has leaned more on Leon Balogun and Ridvan Yilmaz on the left in recent times and with the Nigerian available again after a facial injury he should come back into the side with Borna Barisic also being dropped with question marks on his future remaining.
Ahead of them in midfield the boss has options after Tom Lawrence was rested for the weekend clash, but Ryan Jack is unavailable as he continues to be on a personal fitness plan.
That should see Jack Lundstram come back into the team ahead of him, but Mohammed Diomande was impressive in his full debut and should keep his place in the side ahead of Nicolas Raskin.

Rangers attack is on fire
Ahead of them Rabbi Matondo and Todd Cantwell have been in terrific form and should keep their place on the left and in the number ten role, but the right wing spot is open for suggestions.
Ross McCausland and Scott Wright have started recently, but Oscar Cortes was excellent was on spectacular form on his debut and got and assist so will be expecting to start.
Up top Cyriel Dessers and Fabio Silva have been competing for a starting spot, but the Portuguese forward has two goals in two starts recently and should get the nod.
