Rangers predicted XI v Ross County: Five changes with Oscar Cortes call made
Philippe Clement may look to revert to a more league-centric side as Rangers take on Ross County at Ibrox on Wednesday, 14 February.
For the game against Ayr United in the Scottish Cup, the likes of Oscar Cortes, Mohammed Diomande and Ryan Jack were given starts.
However, they have not featured as much and there’s a good chance all of them make way for more in-form players.
Five changes on the cards for Rangers
Clement confirmed that Tom Lawrence was just being rested for the cup game as he’s done with Jack previously so he should come straight back into the side.
John Lundstram has also been ever-present in the midfield and he’s expected to be among the starters on Wednesday.
New signings Cortes and Diomande made their first starts for the club, but both are expected to make way for Rabbi Matondo and Todd Cantwell respectively.
Matondo has hit a rich vein of form recently and it’s nearly impossible to keep him out of the side on the basis of merit.
Ross McCausland has also been doing better than Scott Wright on the right flank and Clement would not want to curtail his development so he should be starting as well.

A big win for Gers can see them reclaim top spot in the league and that’s precisely what the fans will be asking for.
In other Rangers news, a former Liverpool and Everton midfielder has revealed an offer to secure a permanent move to Ibrox.
