Jim White and Jeff Stelling speak out as Rangers v Aberdeen ‘madness’ predicted
Ally McCoist has predicted the Rangers game against Aberdeen to be “madness” after Neil Warnock has agreed to become the new manager at Pittodrie.
Responding to the news on talkSPORT on Monday (09:37am), host Jeff Stelling said the games between the two sides were already “feisty enough” without the addition of the 75-year-old, with McCoist suggesting there will have to be a camera in the Dons’ dugout for the clash on Tuesday (6 February).
Jim White added that the Gers boss Philippe Clement won’t know what he’s “getting himself into” if he gets involved with the Englishman as he looks to charge of his first SPFL game at Ibrox.
“I tell you what as well, as if Aberdeen and Rangers games weren’t feisty enough, goodness me,” said Stelling.
“I can absolutely guarantee there will have to be a camera in that Aberdeen dugout for the entire 90 minutes,” added McCoist. “I tell you what, that will be madness tomorrow night.”
“I think Philippe Clement doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into if he gets involved there with Warnock,” said White.
Rangers against Aberdeen just got even tastier
The games between Rangers and Aberdeen are already a fiery occasion, but the addition of Warnock is about to raise the sticks even more.
Although the Englishman ins’t getting any younger, he’s clearly still up for the fight and will no doubt make his presence known inside Ibrox.
Clement certainly isn’t someone to shy away and avoid confrontation, so it will be interesting to see how the pair interact on the touchline throughout the game.

Warnock will be looking for a big performance from the Dons as he looks to get them moving up the table, while the Gers have the chance to go level on points with Celtic at the top.
It’s sure to be a fascinating and engrossing battle from the moment the first ball is kicked as both managers will be desperate to see their side emerge victorious.
