Rangers predicted XI v Aberdeen: Philippe Clement to make Borna Barisic axe decision
Philippe Clement will not want to change too much but may make a couple of tweaks to his Rangers side v Aberdeen on Tuesday, 6 February at Ibrox.
Gers were mighty impressive against Livingston at Ibrox on 3 February and picked up an impressive 3-0 victory.
New signing Oscar Cortes also made his debut and was well greeted by the fans who saw him in action for the first time.
Fabio Silva got his first goal for the club and Rabbi Matondo and Todd Cantwell both found the back of the net as well for Philippe Clement’s side.
Two Rangers changes on the cards v Aberdeen?
However, all was not perfect for the hosts as Leon Balogun faced a facial injury and will require a minor procedure and also a mask to return to action.
While it may not be too serious, a game just three days later comes too soon for him and he’s not going to make it for that one.
John Souttar replaced him off the bench on Saturday and is expected to start in his place alongside Connor Goldson at centre-back.
Left-back Borna Barisic, who started the game against Livingston, has been linked with an Ibrox exit in the past few weeks and months.
Ridvan Yilmaz, who’s also been linked with the exit, was actually Clement’s go to option after the winter break and is expected to come back into the eleven.
Barisic completed just out of 10 attempted crosses on Saturday and it’s evident he’s not as good going forward as he used to be, and the Turkey international will be a better fit there.

The rest of the team picks itself and despite going on a run recently, Silva’s goal should ensure Cyriel Dessers settling for a place on the bench.
In other Rangers news, the club’s quest to seal a permanent transfer in the summer now hinges on one condition.
