Chris Jack shares Rangers stance on Adam Devine amid Kilmarnock and Motherwell interest
Rangers are happy for Adam Devine to leave Ibrox on transfer Deadline Day, according to Chris Jack.
The Herald Scotland reporter shared the update on Devine’s future via his personal Twitter page on Thursday (1 February).
Jack was responding to an article by The Rangers Review [1 February] that claimed Kilmarnock and Motherwell are showing a late interest.
“Premiership interest in Adam Devine. Rangers will allow him to leave on deadline day,” Jack said.
Any deal is expected to be on a loan basis until the end of the season, rather than a permanent exit.
Loan move needed
Devine is in real need of some regular playing time and a move to another Scottish Premiership club makes total sense.
The 20-year-old is still at an age in which he has room to develop, and hopefully he will be a first-team regular at Ibrox one day soon.
With eight league appearances to his name already, Devine is clearly highly thought of among the Rangers hierarchy.

Versatile full-back Devine has has made just one substitute appearance in all competitions this term, though, and his career is at risk of stagnating.
It is somewhat surprising that the youngster was not sent out on loan earlier in the month, although that may be down to the uncertainty surrounding Ridvan Yilmaz and Borna Barisic.
Hopefully, a deal can now be struck with either Kilmarnock or Motherwell in the coming hours.
Once he returns to Ibrox in the summer, Devine may then be able to start competing for more regular starts at Rangers.
In other Rangers news, a report claims that a Gers player in form is still wanted by a club abroad as the deadline approaches.
