Cameron Campbell Rangers exit news emerges amid RB Leipzig links
Cameron Campbell has parted ways with Rangers amid links to RB Leipzig and has confirmed his exit on Twitter on 12 January.
According to the Scottish Sun, Gers’ former under-18 coach was at the club for three and a half years and is now linked with a move to the Bundesliga.
He was even promoted to PDP Talent Development Coach back in August.
Via Twitter, he wrote: “Privileged to have spent 3.5 years working with some brilliant people on & off the pitch. An incredible opportunity that I never took for granted, from watching academy lads play for RangersFC & forging careers in the game to winning the U18 League & Scottish Youth Cup.
“Overwhelmed by the messages I’ve received from players, parents and staff which have all been greatly appreciated.”
Good luck
Campbell played a crucial role in the development of the club’s youth players, contributing to their success in winning the under-18 League and Scottish Youth Cup.
His responsibilities probably included nurturing and honing the skills of young talents within the academy and ensuring a steady pipeline of players for the first team.
Campbell’s impact seems to have extended beyond the pitch, with his research even being featured in a UEFA Champions League Technical Report, showcasing the calibre of his work.

Rangers will undoubtedly miss Campbell’s expertise, dedication and the positive influence he had on the youth setup.
His departure, potentially to RB Leipzig, suggests recognition of his coaching prowess and Gers fans can wish him all the best in his new challenge, confident that he will continue to make significant contributions to player development at the highest level.
It remains to be seen whether or not he will make the step up to becoming a first-team coach in the future.
In other Rangers news, a £4.8million bid update has emerged as development occurs in Ger’s quest to seal a January signing.
