Ridvan Yilmaz could be next Rangers player to exit Ibrox after transfer development on Wednesday
Rangers defender Ridvan Yilmaz could be the next first-team player to exit the club, according to the Daily Record.
The Scottish news outlet shared in its print edition (11 January, page 48) that the Turkish left-back is subject to interest at the Italian Serie A outfit and they are keen to do a deal this month.
The Ibrox recruitment team are looking for a left-back with Yilmaz likely to follow Sam Lammers out of the Ibrox exit (Rangers Twitter account, 10 January) doors this month and Borna Barisic out of contract this summer.

Drawing closer
The exit rumours surrounding Yilmaz simply aren’t going away at all.
It seems as though Clement and new transfer chief Nils Koppen are searching for a more youthful look at left-back which spells the end of Yilmaz as a Rangers player.

Yilmaz joined from Besiktas last summer in a deal worth around £3.5m, but due to his struggles with injuries in his debut campaign, he largely found himself behind Barisic in the pecking order.
However, he has started a fair few games under Clement but has still come under major scrutiny for his unconvincing displays and it seems the Belgian is tired of his inconsistencies already.
It’s unlikely that Rangers are going to be too keen to offload Yilmaz unless they receive a reasonable fee to allow him to make a move but given the club’s desperation to sign a new left-back, this brand-new first-team exit may be sealed within a matter of days.
A real shame how his Ibrox career has panned out but it may be a necessary evil for all parties involved.
In other Rangers news, Philippe Clement wants to sign this African forward at Ibrox.
