Rangers defender Ridvan Yilmaz transfer update emerges with 20% contract revelation
Rangers will have to pay 20 per cent of any net income related to Ridvan Yilmaz to Besiktas amid links to Galatasaray, according to Ajansspor.
The Turkish media outlet claimed on 10 January that this was part of the contract agreement when he moved to Ibrox in 2022.
Yilmaz was signed for a £5million fee and has struggled to secure a spot and be a first-team regular at Ibrox.

Rangers face a complex situation with left-back Yilmaz attracting interest from Galatasaray.
The Turkey international, signed for £5million in 2022, has struggled to secure a regular spot.
However, his potential move back to Turkey, either on loan or permanently, poses challenges for Gers as the 20% sell-on clause to Besiktas complicates potential earnings.

Additionally, with Borna Barisic nearing the end of his contract, acquiring a replacement like Josh Doig becomes crucial.
However, their quest to sign Doig also does not appear to be straightforward and this is certainly not how Philippe Clement would’ve wanted his first window in charge to go.
It remains to be seen where Yilmaz ends up and how much money from any sale they even get to pump back into the squad as there are deficiencies in many areas of the team and if they are to battle Celtic for the title, they need to be addressed quickly.
In other Rangers news, an update has emerged on the club’s pursuit to sign a new left-back as Ridvan Yilmaz’s Ibrox exit appears to be edging closer.
