Rangers: Chris Jack names conditions for Michael Beale forgiveness amid Sam Lammers exit rumours
Chris Jack has named the price it will cost for Rangers supporters to forgive former manager Michael Beale for signing Sam Lammers.
Misfiring Dutch forward Lammers has been linked with an Ibrox loan exit during January just six months after becoming one of nine players signed by Beale during a much-criticised summer recruitment drive.
Beale is now in charge of Championship side Sunderland and there were rumours he wanted to take Lammers on loan, though the Sun reported (5 January) that, while Rangers are keen to move him out in January, a reunion is not on the cards.

Speaking on the Rangers Review (5 January, 18:00), Jack said a £2million loan fee plus a £2m future fee to make the deal permanent might start the process of Gers fans forgiving Beale.
“If it was a £2million loan fee and a £2million fee to buy in the summer then I might just start to forgive Michael Beale for signing Sam Lammers in the first place,” Jack quipped.
“I think it’s obvious that Lammers isn’t going to have a long-term future at Rangers, he’s not really part of the plans next season, he shouldn’t be part of the plans for the second half of the season, Rangers could do so much better, he’s not contributed anywhere near enough.
“I just don’t see what Michael Beale thought he was going to bring to side. For all the talk in the summer about what this guy would bring and building the forward line around this number 10, it’s just not been there.
“I think Lammers sums up the worst of Rangers recruitment in the summer, he’s certainly someone the club should be looking to offload.
“If Sunderland fancy him or any other Championship clubs fancy him or there’s any clubs on the continent fancy him then I don’t think Rangers would be that difficult to deal with because that portion of wages out the budget can be used a whole lot more effectively.
“So if Michael Beale fancies another crack then fair play off you go Sam, I certainly;y don’t wish him any ill will or anything.”

A much-maligned figure
In some ways I kind of feel sorry for Lammers because he is taking absolute pelters left, right, and centre.
In other ways, you remember why he is being criticised in the first place. Just two goals in 17 Premiership outings is not the sort of return any of us were hoping for.
Alright, fair enough, he’s not an out-and-out striker but he plays an advanced enough role to be contributing way more goals and certainly a lack of creativity from the Dutchman has been a real concern.
Of all the players Beale signed in the summer, I can’t think of anyone who has flopped more than Lammers, who has just been a colossal disappointment.
Cyriel Dessers some may argue but at least the striker works hard and has contributed some important goals even if he is hugely inconsistent.
Ideally, for Rangers and Lammers, a January exit would be on the cards.
In other Rangers news, Philippe Clement wants to sign Emmanuel Dennis for the Light Blues.
