End may be nigh for Sam Lammers at Rangers as Ibrox news emerges, Philippe Clement has transfer replacements lined up already
Rangers summer signing Sam Lammers may well be forced to empty his Auchenhowie locker within a matter of weeks as Philippe Clement makes a transfer decision.
The misfiring Dutch forward has been linked with an Ibrox loan exit during January just six months after becoming one of nine players signed by former manager and new Sunderland boss Michael Beale during a much-criticised summer recruitment drive.
The Sun reported on Friday 5 January the Gers want to offload the big-money signing in January but the striker has no chance of a reunion with Beale at the Stadium of Light as the former Ibrox boss doesn’t have plans to sign him.

The news outlet report that the £4m summer signing has failed to impress Clement and the Belgian has now made the decision to get rid of him to pave the way for new additions at Ibrox.
Speaking on the Rangers Review (5 January, 18:00), journalist Chris Jack said a £2million loan fee plus a £2m future fee to make the deal permanent might start the process of Gers fans forgiving Beale for such a failed transfer.
The former Sampdoria man has simply failed to light up Ibrox since his move in the summer.
While Abdallah Sima, Cyriel Dessers and Danilo have shown flashes of their qualities this season, Lammers has gradually fallen into oblivion at Ibrox with Clement having no use for him in recent weeks.
Just two goals in 17 Premiership outings is not the sort of return any of the Rangers faithful were hoping for upon his move, and it has led many to question what Beale saw in him when he added him to the squad.

The Gers announced the temporary loan signing of 21-year-old Wolves striker Fabio Silva on 28 December and it seems Clement won’t be stopping there with his brand new additions at Ibrox with so many names linked with the Light Blues to possibly replace Lammers.
Lawrence Shankland, Kevin van Veen or Josh Doig have been regular names that have popped up in the frame to be Clement’s next additions this month but in order for those moves to happen, players like Lammers will certainly need to be moved on.

A four-year deal at Ibrox makes a permanent transfer less likely this month, but a loan move could easily be sorted for a host of clubs with the hope that he will perform for them and garner some interest ahead of the summer window.
As a result, it’s time the Dutch forward empties out his Auchenhowie locker as Rangers look to quickly steal a march on their second signing of the January window.
In other Rangers news, Philippe Clement wants to sign Emmanuel Dennis for the Light Blues.
