Wolves players send messages as Rangers complete Fabio Silva loan transfer
A number of Wolves players have sent messages to Fabio Silva on social media after his loan move to Rangers has been finalised.
The Gers announced the signing of the 21-year-old until the end of the season on Thursday (28 December) as he looks to help them battle it out for more domestic honours.
The Portuguese posted a photo of himself on Instagram on Thursday, holding up a Gers shirt at Ibrox as the forward said it was “truly a pleasure” to have joined the club.

Responding to the post, Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina said “enjoy your time in Rangers brother, all the best”.
Nelson Semedo, Sasa Kalajdzic and Matheus Cunha also wished him luck for his loan spell at Ibrox.
Popular
It seems as though Silva is a popular figure in the Wolves dressing room after several of his teammates have taken their time out to wish him luck for the rest of the season.
It’s no major surprise as he is a young Portuguese player, who some of his more experienced compatriots have probably taken under their wing over the past few years.
It hasn’t been the best time for the forward since he made the move to the Premier League side from Porto for £35million in 2020.

He’s scored just five goals and laid on six assists in 72 games for the club, including just one Carabao Cup strike in his 10 appearances this season.
But he will be looking to have an impact for the Gers during the second half of the campaign after notching 16 goals during his loan spells at Anderlecht and PSV last season.
In other Rangers news, a journalist has tipped one player to be a “surprise” star under Clement at Ibrox.
