Rangers transfer news as Kai Wagner move now on cards at Ibrox
Rangers have scouted Philadelphia Union left-back Kai Wagner as they look to make another January transfer, according to the Daily Record.
The newspaper has reported on its website that the Bears have moved their attention to their defence after completing the loan signing of Wolves striker Fabio Silva.
Philippe Clement is said to be actively pursuing a new left-back at Ibrox already with the window still not open until Monday 1 January.

With Borna Barisic out of contract in the summer and Ridvan Yilmaz struggling to assert himself since signing, the door is open for Wagner to come in.
The German has been a revelation in the MLS, becoming the first outfield Philadelphia Union player to be selected for consecutive All-Star games.

No messing around.
Wow, Clement and Rangers are not messing around ahead of January.
It is nice for the club to be planning rather than messing around for four weeks and then starting a mad rush to try and get something to stick ahead of deadline day, with Aaron Ramsey coming to mind.
Wagner has been the standout defender in the MLS for many years now, delivering 22 assists in 63 games in the past two seasons for Philadelphia.
The 26-year-old, however, was suspended this year for violating the MLS’ anti-discrimination policy after being accused of making a racist comment.
Clement has identified the final third and left-back as two crucial areas and if both those are sorted in the coming days, it could leave a full month for other deals.
Midfield instantly springs to mind with the injury crisis taking its toll in that area, but that is one to watch ahead of the window finally opening – bring it on.
In other Rangers news, the club may now look to sign an international striker in January amid a recent £2.3m development
