John Lundstram nowhere to be seen as Philippe Clement makes four changes – Rangers confirmed XI v Motherwell
Philippe Clement has made four changes to the Rangers starting lineup as his side prepares to take on Motherwell on Sunday (24 December).
The Gers confirmed on their official Twitter account that Jack Butland will start in goal, with James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and Ridvan Yilmaz making up the defence.
Dujon Sterling will come into the side in a deep-lying midfield role behind Kieran Dowell and Todd Cantwell, while Ross McCausland, Abdallah Sima and Cyriel Dessers will occupy the attacking positions.
That means there is no place in the side for John Lundstram after he picked up an injury in the 2-0 victory over St Johnstone on 20 December, while Kemar Roofe is also not in the squad.
John Souttar and Sam Lammers have both been dropped to the bench at Fir Park.
Momentum
This is another opportunity for Rangers to keep their momentum going as they make the trip to Motherwell on Christmas Eve.
The Gers come into the match on a 15-game unbeaten run under Clement after their form has been nothing short of exceptional over the past couple of months.
The next week poses a real test for the Belgian and his squad as they look to manage the hectic festive period, with the huge clash against Celtic on 30 December edging ever closer.

The Light Blues will be desperate to record another victory at Fir Park to close the gap back down to two points on their Glasgow rivals at the top of the SPFL table.
Although the squad is currently stretched due to the injuries over the past few weeks, Clement will be confident his side can come away from North Lanarkshire with all three points.
