Brendan Rodgers issues transfer admission on Rangers and Celtic target Bojan Miovski
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has issued a transfer admission on Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski, who’s also been linked with a move to Rangers.
The British manager has refused to deny interest in the 24-year-old and has mentioned that agents like to offer their clients around close to the transfer window.
Both Old Firm clubs are reportedly keen on signing the £4million+ rated North Macedonia international with the Hoops believed to be leading the chase.

When quizzed about interest in Miovski, the Scottish Sun quoted Rodgers as saying: “This is the period where agents throw out names and links, so if I did it would be a long six weeks.
“But there are certainly names there. As a manager, you’d always prefer to get them in the sooner the better but we have the winter break and we won’t play until the middle of January.
“Work is also underway for the guys who haven’t been playing — obviously they’ll want to get out to play as quickly as possible.”
Tough one
Celtic’s pursuit of Miovski creates a challenging scenario for Rangers to secure his signature.
The 24-year-old Macedonian striker has attracted interest from both Celtic and Gers, along with other clubs in England.
The Hoops are understood to have been actively scouting Miovski throughout the season, indicating a strong interest in acquiring his services.

One significant hurdle for Rangers could be the reported record-breaking fee that Aberdeen is demanding for Miovski’s transfer.
Additionally, the competition for Miovski’s signature is fierce, with both Old Firm clubs keen on signing him in 2024.
The interest from Celtic, coupled with their proactive scouting, suggests a higher likelihood of them signing the forward and they’re also leading the chase, making it challenging for Rangers to outbid their rivals or convince the player to choose Ibrox over Celtic Park.
Rodgers is also not denying any links to him which may suggest there could be something brewing behind the scenes.
In other Rangers news, the club may now rekindle the transfer interest in a ‘Dynamic’ central midfielder amid a recent behind-the-scenes coup.
