Doctor issues Scott Wright injury news ahead of Rangers v Dundee
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Rangers...
Rangers winger Scott Wright appears to be in an injury cycle with recurring setbacks and remains a doubt v Dundee, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
Gers take on Dundee at Ibrox on Saturday, 8 December, and the 26-year-old is unlikely to return as he’s been absent from the matchday squad for recent games.
The injury expert has assessed his record and believes that he’s also lacking match fitness and his constant setbacks are derailing him from getting momentum.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“My reading is he’s caught in a bit of an injury cycle where you get injured, lose fitness, then pick up another injury.
“In his case, picked up a knock as well.
“It can take some time to get out of that cycle and trying to push through that process can just lead to more problems and until he gets out of it, he remains a doubt for games.“

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Wright as his fitness record is not doing him any favours.
He appeared to be on his way out in the summer but stayed put at Ibrox and could be put on the market in January as well.
Philippe Clement is yet to make a decision on Wright but the chances of him leaving do appear to be high.
In other Rangers news, the club may now rekindle the transfer interest in a ‘Dynamic’ central midfielder amid a recent behind-the-scenes coup.
