David Edgar blown away by what he saw James Tavernier and Abdallah Sima do for Rangers in 1-0 win v Hearts

Heart and Hand anchor David Edgar was blown away by Abdallah Sima’s opener for Rangers in the first half of Wednesday’s clash against Hearts.

The Gers were looking to keep pace with league leaders Celtic as they faced off against a resurgent Hearts on Wednesday evening at Tynecastle Park and found themselves ahead before half-time.

The official Rangers partner anchor posting on their Twitter account (6 December) shared his reaction after James Tavernier pulled off a wonderful through ball for the summer addition to bag his eighth league goal of the campaign.

He wrote: “Wow! An incredible piece of play from out of nowhere! Tav superb and a glorious ball through, tremendous run and finish from Abdallah Sima.”

Stunning

The pass provided by Tavernier was simply first class. The vision, execution and accuracy of it was just delicious and the Rangers veteran simply showed just why the club relies on him so much, with magic actions like that.

However, huge credit also goes to Abdallah Sima to finish it off with great confidence and class, continuing his stunning form in a Rangers shirt.

Rangers

It’s now 12 goals in all competitions for the Brighton loanee and it’s now time the Gers open talks with the Seagulls to seal his permanent signing. However, every goal and assist registered for the forward, will almost certainly increase his transfer value.

But, if his goals and assists keep securing points for Philippe Clement’s men in the coming weeks then the Gers won’t mind at all.

With Celtic riding high at the top of the Scottish Premiership mountain, Clement desperately needs a player consistent with his goalscoring and contributions and Sima is that priceless commodity right now. Tremendous pass and goal.

In other Rangers news, an obvious personality clash is behind the relationship between two key Ibrox men being stretched to breaking point.
