Rangers fans will surely rage after ‘realistic’ Philippe Clement comments
Rangers supporters have certainly been through plenty of ups and downs this season, with that turbulence also taking place in the summer.
Michael Beale, the manager at the time, brought about plenty of excitement at Ibrox with nine new arrivals in the most recent transfer window.
But not all of those players have impressed in Glasgow so far this season, with their struggles playing a major part in Beale’s sacking.

Philippe Clement has stepped into the dugout and has turned things around, but the Gers remain some way off Celtic in the league, while their Europa League future is up in the air.
Fans of the club will, therefore, more than likely want one or two more new faces in the door in the January transfer window in order to improve results on the pitch.
But much to their disappointment, that doesn’t look very likely, with Clement issuing a firm admission on the transfer situation ahead of the opening of the window.

“Reshaping it in January is much more difficult than in the summer, that’s the reality in football with every club so I’m realistic about that,” Clement said, as transcribed by the Daily Record.
“First we need to make a good assessment about that. It’s not good, fair or honest to do it in six weeks, that’s really short to make decisions around that.
“Until January and even in January players have the time to prove themselves that they are the right men for the club and position. It’s an open battle in that way to show themselves.”
A few disappointing draws aside, it has been a largely positive experience for Gers fans under Clement so far, but the suggested lack of business next month won’t please the Ibrox faithful.
In other Rangers news, a Sky Sports pundit has slammed a Gers “failure” as a “booby prize” is on the cards for the Ibrox club.
