BBC pundit makes Rangers and Celtic transfer admission on Motherwell midfielder Lennon Miller

Kenny Miller has namechecked Motherwell midfielder Lennon Miller to potentially thrive at both Rangers and Celtic in the future.

He believes that both Old Firm sides have handpicked the top players in the league and the 17-year-old is soon going to be among them.

Thus far, he’s only got a handful of senior appearances under his belt but is being talked about as one of the next big things in Scottish football.

Miller, a BBC pundit, told Clyde 1 Superscoreboard via Football Scotland: “The one that kind of stands out for me at the moment, but he’s still very, very young with few games under his belt, is the lad Lennon Miller at Motherwell.

“I still think if he was to be signed by either of the Old Firm, it would be more of one of those projects because he’s not been in the first-team long enough to go and show what he can do. He’s still very young as well. Rangers and Celtic over the years have definitely just handpicked the best players in the league but they seem to have moved away from that in the last ten years or so.”

Miller has been labelled as “technically gifted” and has been tipped to go on to have a stellar career in football, despite being only 17.

From a Rangers perspective, keeping tabs on the teenager is imperative due to his exceptional talent and loyalty to Motherwell as he’s been courted by clubs in the UK.

Miller has showcased his prowess with remarkable performances, including becoming Motherwell’s youngest-ever player.

In a potential transfer battle with Celtic, Rangers must prioritise securing the Scottish youngster’s services.

His local ties and allegiance to Motherwell could give Rangers an edge but they’re going to have to touch base with him months before they eventually sign him.

Additionally, Miller’s potential and playing style align well with the club’s needs, making him a valuable investment for their future success.

To maintain dominance and thwart Celtic’s interest, Gers must act decisively to secure the promising midfielder, ensuring he becomes an integral part of their squad rather than allowing their rivals to have one of the best youngsters in Scotland.

In other Rangers news, the club may now rekindle the transfer interest in a ‘Dynamic’ central midfielder amid a recent behind-the-scenes coup.
