Rangers days numbered for Cyriel Dessers as Ibrox forward ‘nowhere to be seen’
Cryriel Dessers’ days at Rangers are “already numbered”, according to Kris Boyd.
Dessers, 28, joined the Light Blues from Cremonense for £5.4million in the summer transfer window, making him one of the club’s most expensive signings since 2012.
However, he’s struggling massively in Scotland and Boyd has clearly had enough of the Nigeria international, who was left as an unused substitute in the 1-1 draw at Aberdeen last week.

Writing on the Scottish Sun website on Friday (1 December), the Sky Sports pundit said: “Sam Lammers just won’t do for me — and nobody will convince me he can turn things round at Ibrox.
“Just listen to the sarcastic cheers from Gers fans when he was eventually hauled off on Thursday.
“There’s no doubt Cyriel Dessers’ days at the club are already numbered, too.
“Rangers needed a goal at Pittodrie and he was nowhere to be seen.”

Woeful
Michael Beale’s recruitment in the summer has set Rangers back massively.
What on earth was John Bennett thinking when he allowed a rookie manager access to millions of pounds of sensitive money that wasn’t there just to be thrown at anyone?
Dessers, Lammers, Jose Cifuentes and Danilo haven’t come anywhere near to suggesting they’re worth the money paid for them so far.
Granted, Danilo has been injured but on either side of his spell on the sidelines, he hasn’t looked like a player worth the money shelled out to Feyenoord to sign him.
Lammers and Dessers though. Wow. They would struggle to get a game for bottom-of-the-table Livingston right now. They are rank rotten.
Rangers’ issue is that they cannot just up and sell these two players straight away because they’ll make a massive loss within the space of a few months.
Is a loan a good option? But then how do you afford a replacement?
Philippe Clement, the poor guy, is now going to have to turn water into wine with this pair. He’s going to have to turn manure into a flawless diamond to salvage anything.
In other Rangers news, it’s a done deal as the Gers reach an agreement for an early-January arrival.
