Rangers handed double boost ahead of Aris Limassol clash, Ibrox should be bouncing
Rangers manager Philippe Clement will be keen to maintain his unbeaten start at the club when his side take on Aris Limassol.
The Cypriot outfit, who are top of their domestic league, travel to Ibrox on Thursday (30 November) for their Europa League group stage clash.
The Gers currently occupy second spot in Group C of the competition, with their upcoming opponents sitting rock bottom.

But fans of the Glasgow club know that a straightforward game is far from a certainty, with Aris having defeated Rangers 2-1 in the reverse fixture last month, in the latter’s only defeat in this season’s tournament.
Supporters can, however, take plenty of confidence from Aris’s issues on the road, with the Gers handed a double boost in that regard.
As per BBC Sport (29 November), the Cypriot side have lost their last two away matches by a scoreline of 4-1, against Real Betis and Karmiotissa.
Moreover, they have lost each of their last four away games in European competition, meaning Ibrox should be bouncing throughout the match as the home supporters aim to keep that unsuccessful Aris run going.

A boisterous crowd under the lights really can make all the difference on big European nights, and Clement will be hoping the Ibrox supporters can act as the club’s 12th man.
A victory on home soil would secure Rangers’s place in the next round, in what would be a huge weight off the manager’s shoulders at this key stage of the season.
Spanish side Real Betis currently top the standings with nine points, two ahead of Rangers and five ahead of Sparta Prague in third.
Rangers will be keen to wrap things up against their Cypriot opponents given how they must travel to Real Betis in their final group game next month.
In other Rangers news, Clement is working wonders on and off the pitch at the Scottish club as Gers contract news emerges.
