Rangers to officially announce Ross McCausland development at Ibrox within days
Ross McCausland has agreed terms on a new Rangers contract until the summer of 2027, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.
The newspaper reported on page 64 of its print edition on Tuesday (28 November) that the Gers are expected to make an official announcement about the 20-year-old winger’s new deal this week.
It added that the Northern Ireland international was keen to remain with the Light Blues after growing up supporting the club following interest from clubs in England and Italy in signing him when his contract was due to expire at Ibrox next summer.

Positive
This is a massive positive for Rangers after there were genuine fears that McCausland could be set to move on from the club at the end of the season.
That would have provided a hammer blow to new Gers boss Philippe Clement after the winger has pushed himself into his plans in recent weeks.
The Belgian made it clear to him that he would be an important part of his time moving forward and that has obviously been enough to tie him down for the next few years.

McCausland is a chance for the Light Blues to show that youngsters can break through into the first team after very few players have been handed many opportunities in recent years.
The Northern Irishman will now be desperate to back up the manager’s faith in him as he looks to nail down the place on the right-hand flank at Ibrox.
In other Rangers news, a former Celtic man has downplayed the impact of Clement at Ibrox.
