Philippe Clement is really working wonders at Rangers since taking over from Michael Beale in the Ibrox dugout.

The Scottish giants were in a rut under Beale, with Clement coming in and really freshening things up in various areas.

On the pitch, the Belgian remarkably remains undefeated from his first eight matches in all competitions, in a run that includes six victories and two draws, helping the Gers stay in contention for various trophies this season.

Off the pitch meanwhile he has just given the club a massive boost, with Sky Sports reporting on Monday (27 November) that young attacker Ross McCausland has agreed terms on a new contract at Ibrox.

The publication reported that the 20-year-old winger has committed his future to the Gers despite growing interest from clubs in England and across Europe.

There will undoubtedly be several reasons behind the decision, with McCausland perhaps wanting to continue developing at Ibrox at this early stage of his career.

But manager Clement will have undoubtedly played a key role in the extension, with the Belgian having put a lot of faith in the youngster in recent times.

Given McCausland game time in key matches was not something Beale chose to do, but Clement has gone down that route, handing the winger his first Rangers start in the recent league clash against Livingston.

The youngster is still seeking his first senior goal, but with the busy fixture list and his current run of form, he can be expected to find the back of the net very soon.
