Chris Sutton and Kris Boyd get into debate ahead of Rangers v Aberdeen clash
Chris Sutton and Kris Boyd got into an argument ahead of the Rangers v Aberdeen clash on Sunday, 26 November, at Pittodrie.
The former Celtic striker did not agree with Boyd’s assessment that Aberdeen tend to show up in games against Gers and do not do the same with the Hoops.
He believes that the stats do not back up those claims and doubled down on whether the former Rangers player questioned their integrity.

Boyd said on Sky Sports, as quoted by the Scottish Sun: “I said Barry Robson won’t have a problem getting his players up for this one. I stand by it. A lot of people focused on what I didn’t say, rather than what I did say. Celtic were never mentioned.
“As usual, they (Celtic) have to be involved in everything.”
To this, Sutton stated that the stats do not back it up and then said, “You did double down and you did question Aberdeen’s integrity, didn’t you? Do you stand by that?
Boyd then bluntly replied, “Yes.”
Doesn’t make sense
Boyd cannot claim that Aberdeen suddenly become a better team against Rangers than they are in comparison to Celtic.
Gers had a poor first half on Sunday, 26 November, and Philippe Clement needs to remind his players of the standards for the full 90 minutes.

They cannot just be a second-half side and need to start games strongly as well and not put the players under pressure.
Had it not been for Jack Butland’s heroics, things would’ve been a lot worse against Aberdeen and they cannot have their keeper needing to bail them out every time.
Clement will himself state that he was disappointed with how things panned out in the first period and hopefully, Gers now go on a good run of results.
Celtic aren’t going to give too many chances and it’s on the Ibrox outfit to keep winning their matches and putting the pressure.
In other Rangers news, a player is now in a ‘Worse’ situation than before as surgery is unavoidable, according to exclusive coverage by an injury expert.
