Rangers issued fresh warning from UEFA as fines claim emerges

Rangers have been issued a warning from UEFA for unsporting conduct in their 2-1 win against Sparta Prague at Ibrox on 10 November.

Football Scotland relayed the UEFA reading from 24 November which stated that the club must respect the laws of the game.

Despite this statement, the club have not been imposed with any fine related to the matter.

Bizarre

The UEFA warning regarding the ball boy conduct during the Sparta Prague game seems utterly ridiculous.

The focus should be on the players and the thrilling victory, not on minor incidents involving ball boys.

Fans can argue that such warnings divert attention from the true spirit of the game and the players’ performances.

The essence of football lies in skill, strategy, and the passion of supporters, not in scrutinising the actions of ball boys.

Nevertheless, there’s a silver lining in the fact that no fines were imposed as it spares Rangers from financial penalties, allowing the club to channel resources back into supporting the team and maintaining a positive focus on their European campaign.

Despite the warning, the absence of fines is a small consolation for the fans.

There shouldn’t be any action taken on this from either side but maybe Gers have to ask their ball boys to be slightly more disciplined and non partisan.
