Philippe Clement axes Todd Cantwell in four changes – Rangers confirmed XI v Livingston
Philippe Clement has made four changes to the Rangers starting lineup for their game against Livingston on Sunday (12 November).
The Gers confirmed on their official Twitter account that Jack Butland will start in goal, with James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and Borna Barisic making up the defence.
Ryan Jack and John Lundstram will continue in midfield, while Ross McCausland, Tom Lawrence, Abdallah Sima and Cyriel Dessers will occupy the attacking positions.
That means attacking midfielder Todd Cantwell has been dropped to the bench alongside Ben Davies, Sam Lammers and Danilo.
Momentum
There is certainly some momentum building for Rangers after they secured a 2-1 victory over Sparta Prague in the Europa League on Thursday (9 November).
That momentum is going to be absolutely crucial if the Gers are to claw back the eight-point gap Celtic currently hold at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Clement has so far had an excellent start to life with the Light Blues after claiming five victories from his opening six games in charge and remaining unbeaten.

He will be hoping for another strong performance from his side against Livingston as they look to continue their impressive scoring spree under the Belgian.
It’s extremely important that they manage to pick up another victory to keep the confidence high amongst the ground heading into the international break after the game at the Almondvale Stadium.
In other Rangers news, an “alarming” admission by one Gers star has gone under the radar at Ibrox.
