Official Rangers partner issues puzzling clarification on Ibrox expansion talks

Heart and Hand have issued a clarification on the Ibrox development plans shared by Rangers CEO James Bisgrove.

Initially, it seemed that a long-term plan was being looked at in Copland and Broomloan to add 8000-10000 on each stand.

However, the official media partner believes that it’s more likely that the capacity is increased to that amount rather than those many new seats.

Fair enough

Rangers have made promises time and again and have not lived up to them on numerous occasions so one has every reason to be sceptical about this.

Having 10,000 new seats in that stand seems highly improbable and it seems more like the capacity will be increased to that much.

It’s still a good thing for the fans and hopefully, they can begin with the work as soon as possible and not put it on the backburner.

James

The club will also benefit from it as they’ll be able to sell more season tickets and the matchday revenue will also skyrocket.

It might be a big investment in the short term, but it’s a very good long term decision for their finances and it’s something that should be a priority.

Whether or not that’s what happens remains to be seen, but fans can only hope for the best.

In other Rangers news, a BBC pundit has claimed that a Gers first-team player will jump at the chance to leave Ibrox as a transfer story has emerged recently.
