Todd Cantwell predicted to cause ‘serious problems’ in Rangers v Hearts
Rangers ace Todd Cantwell can cause “serious problems” against Hearts, according to Daily Record journalist Matthew Fulton.
Philippe Clement’s side meet the Edinburgh outfit in the Scottish League Cup semi-final at Hampden Park on Sunday (5 November).
Cantwell has made 12 appearances in all competitions this season, having missed a handful of games with a knee injury.

“If Clement is to keep his Rangers train rolling on, Todd Cantwell will be key to success,” Fulton wrote for the Daily Record (3 November).
“The ex-Norwich City man is trophy-less from his first season in Glasgow, but wants to add silverware to his arsenal and can cause Hearts serious problems this weekend.”

Star man
Cantwell has really impressed under Clement so far, with the midfielder slowly but surely finding his way back to full fitness.
The Gers really missed the former Norwich City man when he was out of action with his knee injury, with his absence particularly felt by former manager Michael Beale.
The boss lost his job at Ibrox due to poor recruitment and a poor run of results early in the season, but it may have been a different story had he been able to call upon Cantwell for some key games.
But everyone has moved on from that period at Ibrox, with Clement now having a golden opportunity to already clinch a cup final spot with his new club.
Steven Naismith’s Hearts stand in the way as they look for revenge from their recent defeat to the Gers, but Cantwell and his teammates should be confident that they can get past the Edinburgh club at Hampden.
In other Rangers news, the Gers have scouted an international midfielder, with a January transfer on the cards for the player.
