Rangers predicted XI v Hearts: Philippe Clement to axe Ridvan Yilmaz
Philippe Clement may look to drop Ridvan Yilmaz as Rangers take on Hearts in the Scottish League Cup semi-final on Sunday, 5 November.
The Turkey international started the 5-0 win against Dundee on Thursday, 1 November, but Borna Barisic, who has been out with an injury, was an unused substitute.
There is a feeling that he may be brought back into the side as he has been the first choice left-back even after Yilmaz joined for £3.4million in 2022 [Sky Sports].

Leon Balogun started the Dundee clash while Ben Davies and John Souttar were not even on the bench for Clement’s side.
Souttar is injured and unlikely to be fit by the weekend and it remains to be seen if Davies is back in action, although that seems improbable, as things stand.
Ryan Jack’s not been a regular this season but his impressive performance which was capped off with a goal and dropping him to the bench will not make sense.

However, Scott Wright, who started in the final third, is expected to make way for Todd Cantwell who can be deployed as a number 10.
This could see Sam Lammers, who struggled recently, until scoring at Dundee, moving back on the right wing with Abdallah Sima on the left.
Despite coming off the bench and scoring, Cyriel Dessers is expected to not be named in the eleven with Danilo retaining his spot in the side.
In other Rangers news, a BBC pundit has claimed that a Gers first-team player will jump at the chance to leave Ibrox as a transfer story has emerged recently.
