Source inside Dens Park shares Rangers v Dundee postponement verdict
A source inside Dens Park has shared that the pitch is playable after fears of Rangers clash against Dundee being postponed, according to the Glasgow Times.
The newspaper has shared on its website [01 November] that the game is likely to go ahead now barring any last-gasp changes in the weather.
Fears started to grow over the Scottish Premiership fixture earlier on Wednesday with video footage showing the surrounding areas of the pitch flooded.

Dundee confirmed earlier in the day in a statement that they will continue to monitor the pitch with yellow weather warnings in place already.
Nothing has followed since with Rangers also releasing that they are in contact with the home side with any updates to be released if they are given.

Brilliant.
There is nothing worse than getting ready for an away game and the travel with the fear that it may all be for nothing should it be postponed.
Alarmingly, far too many games are called off so close to kick-off time that fans have already made their way to the game, with no regard for their situations in these decisions.
Radio silence following the club statements earlier today may be seen as a positive, but it would be nice if it was confirmed that the game will be going ahead as well.
Of course, those things can change but given this latest update, it looks as though everything is fine moving towards the kick-off at Dens Park.
Philippe Clement will be hoping for the best possible surface for his side to go and showcase another few days of training under his new regime.
Results have been coming, but it would be nice for a solid performance for 90 minutes to also follow, and any postponement here would just delay that even further.
