Rangers transfer news as admirers line up around Europe for Abdallah Sima
Admirers have lined up around Europe for Abdallah Sima following the impressive start to his loan spell with Rangers, according to Sussex Live.
The outlet reported on its website on Wednesday (1 November) that teams around the continent are known to rate the Brighton loanee highly after an impressive start to life in Glasgow which has seen him score five Scottish Premiership goals in 10 matches.
Rangers have been impressed by the 22-year-old’s performances so far this season, but there is no option in the loan deal to make the move permanent, meaning Philippe Clement’s side would have to negotiate with Brighton to sign Sima permanently.

Despite having interest from abroad, Sima is reportedly happy at Ibrox and enjoying his time in the Scottish Premiership, with the Light Blues potentially exploring the possibility of making the switch permanent.
Will be tough
So much of the incoming business at Ibrox this summer under the management of Michael Beale has turned out to be wasteful, with the likes of Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers showing little in the early stages of their Ibrox careers to get supporters out of their seats.
But the addition of Sima to the squad, alongside Jack Butland between the posts, has proven to be one of the better deals completed by the former Rangers boss this summer as he has gone from strength to strength as the season has progressed.
When so many of the forwards in Clement’s squad have struggled to find the net consistently, the Brighton loanee has carried a constant goal threat and scored some crucial goals during his short Rangers career so far, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that the Light Blues want to extend his stay.

However, Rangers won’t be the only team that will have noticed the Senegalese forward’s excellent recent form and that will lead to interest from clubs in the United Kingdom and beyond. The worry for the Gers will be that increased interest will only drive up the striker’s price.
It will be tough for the Light Blues to come out on top if some big European sides look to sign Sima once his loan spell at Ibrox, but should he continue to enjoy his time at Glasgow he may well be keen to extend his stay in Scotland.
