Philippe Clement axes Cyriel Dessers in four changes – Rangers confirmed XI v Dundee
Philippe Clement has made four changes to his Rangers starting line-up to face off against Dundee at Dens Park on Wednesday night.
Prior to kick off on Tayside on 1 November, the Light Blues announced via their official X account that Leon Balogun, Ryan Jack, Scott Wright and Danilo all come into the side.
Neither Ben Davies nor Nicolas Raskin are in the matchday squad while Clement has decided to axe Todd Cantwell and £4.3million summer signing Cyriel Dessers to the bench.
Momentum
Rangers are expected to win this game comfortably but the weather conditions on Tayside ahead of the Scottish Premiership showdown mean that this could be a turgid affair for everyone involved.
However, the Gers have the players that should be able to overcome the Dark Blues with relative ease.
Clement’s men will no doubt be on a high after their late, late win against Hearts at the weekend.
Goals by James Tavernier and Danilo in the dying minutes earned the Light Blues a 2-1 win despite being behind for almost the entire regular 90 minutes.

That, on top of an impressive win over Hibernian, shows the Govan club is flying in the league and that they need to keep the ball rolling by beating Dundee resoundingly at Dens Park in this midweek game.
We also saw a 0-0 draw away at Sparta Prague in the Europa League last week, which, on paper, isn’t the worst result.
All of that, plus a win against Dundee on Wednesday, would be perfect going into the Scottish League Cup semi-final clash with Hearts on Sunday at Hampden Park.
In other Rangers news, Charlie Miller believes that Clement cannot afford to drop Lammers and Dessers despite their recent form
