Dundee v Rangers may be called off as doubts emerge already
Dundee has released a statement of optimism that the Scottish Premiership clash with Rangers at Dens Park on Wednesday 01 November will go ahead.
The club are said to be monitoring weather conditions at the ground after heavy rainfall which may put the game in doubt if it was to continue.
Despite the optimism, the Scottish Sun has reported that there are now fears that the game will not go ahead and may be postponed on the day.

It is said that the city of Dundee is facing some of the heaviest downpours in the country, with storms battering Scotland from coast to coast in recent days.
Dundee has confirmed that any changes to the game going ahead will be announced on their website ahead of the clash, with travelling fans hopefully getting enough notice if that was the case.

Momentum.
This would not be the first time that the weather has claimed a game in Scotland.
Philippe Clement would be stuck between a rock and a hard place though, as on one hand, he will want to continue the momentum his side has, but another saying that a rest would do his injury-ravaged squad the world of good.
Of course, the club would never want a game called off, but the fact is that a few day’s rest would do this squad wonders given the massive issues they have.
With a ViaPlay Cup semi-final to come at the weekend too, Clement and Rangers will need to navigate this fixture safely, something which may be hard with this weather at play.
Hopefully, if it were to be called off, there would be more than enough notice to stop fans from making the trip across to Dundee and wasting their time and money.
As of right now, the game is on and optimism remains, so let’s go and get those three points.
