Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers destroyed after Rangers win v Hearts
Rangers duo Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers have once again been destroyed after their performances in the last-gasp 2-1 win against Hearts on Sunday 29 October.
The Daily Record journalist Andy Newport described the display as “dire and hopeless” with the two attackers singled out as the worst with their 4/10 ratings.
Rangers fans ironically cheered as they were both replaced, with Danilo actually going on to score the winner as he continues to look more efficient each week.

Newport wrote in the print edition of the newspaper [29 October, pg 40]: “On the day the clocks went back, Clement’s team were caught snoozing after the extra hour in bed as they let in Lawrence Shankland to score early.
“And there was not much more sign of life in a Gers display that verged from dire to hopeless with both Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers cheered ironically as they were replaced.”

Problems.
Despite the much-needed win, Philippe Clement has many issues on his hands with how his squad has performed over the last couple of outings.
Dessers and Lammers are the main issues, but with short turnarounds and injuries ravaging the squad, there isn’t much he can really do at this moment.
Danilo is a clear replacement for the Nigerian striker, though, and the trip to Dundee on Wednesday 01 November simply has to see that happen.
Looking at the bench though, Scott Wright and Ross McCausland may be the only options to take the spot of Lammers, which would require a re-think with Todd Cantwell maybe moving central.
With Nicolas Raskin likely out too now after being stretchered off, we could see plenty of changes for the trip to Dens Park, with three points a necessity again.
Clement like has 24 hours to decide what he wants to do, but it would be a major shock to see even one of Lammers or Dessers starting that game.
In other Rangers news, Tom English has been left baffled by one Gers man who doesn’t look like a player at all.
