Kris Boyd reacts after what happened in Rangers and Celtic clashes recently
Kris Boyd has slammed Hibs and Hearts for their performances against Rangers and Celtic last weekend in the SPFL.
Gers enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 win over Hibs while Hearts were humbled by Celtic, losing that one 4-1.
Boyd believes that both Steven Naismith and Nick Montgomery might be under the cosh if results do not improve.

He told the Scottish Sun, “Hibs and Hearts were a disgrace last weekend.
“Their performances against Rangers and Celtic were nothing short of an embarrassment.
“The Edinburgh pair face the Old Firm again this weekend and I hope for their managers’ sake they show a marked improvement.
“Otherwise, Steven Naismith could soon be added to the long list of managerial casualties at Tynecastle and Nick Montgomery will begin to face some serious scrutiny at Easter Road.”
Results business
If Hibs and Hearts are expected to be the closest challengers to the two Glasgow sides, then they’ve got to be performing better.
Thus far, their displays have been shambolic and there’s no surprise if questions are soon going to be asked of the managers.

They will be sacked if they continue falling down on the table and that’s just how ruthless this business is and managers do not get the time.
When Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Michael Beale lost their jobs, however, there were fans who wanted them gone a lot before they eventually left.
It’s a tricky business and there needs to be tangible and intangible progress for managers to warrant more time at the helm.
Philippe Clement does look like the right man for the job initially but he’s got to make the big calls and axe underperforming players if he is to keep improving.
In other Rangers news, a BBC pundit has claimed that a Gers first-team player will jump at the chance to leave Ibrox as a transfer story has emerged recently.
