English clubs want to sign Ross McCausland, Rangers yet to offer new deal despite Fabrizio Romano news
English clubs are interested in signing Rangers starlet Ross McCausland in a six-figure deal, with no new contract offered yet according to Belfast Live.
Writing on their official website (23 October), the news outlet reports that Philippe Clement is a big fan of the winger but despite reports from Fabrizio Romano no new deal has been offered to him at Ibrox.
With his current deal set to expire in the summer there are clubs now circling for a potential January deal, with Rangers valuing him at around £300,000.

“Rangers winger Ross McCausland continues to attract interest from clubs in England as speculation mounts over his future,” they wrote.
“The 20-year-old – valued at around £300,000 – comes out of contract next summer and is attracting interest from clubs in England.
“He is highly-rated by Clement who sees the winger as part of his long-term plans at Ibrox, but it is understood no new deal has been offered yet.”
Interesting
McCausland clearly made an impression on the new management staff quite quickly with stories coming out that the club were going to hand him a new deal.
But now this report suggests that a deal hasn’t actually been offered yet, and the fact the player has already been given a valuation too suggests they’re not totally against moving him on in January.

It would obviously be the last chance that the club have to make money on him if he isn’t going to put pen-to-paper on a new contract, and if the interest is there then it would make sense to at least keep an eye on it.
But if he continues to impress Clement between now and January then he will surely find himself firmly in his plans with a new contract on the table to prove that he is valued.
It’s one to keep an eye on going forward, especially if the injuries continue and he gets an opportunities to shine in the first-team.
