Rangers transfer decision justified as Ryan Kent could be finished at Fenerbache already after what he did
The Rangers decision to ditch Ryan Kent from Ibrox this summer becomes more ingenious by the week and his struggles at Fenerbache have been laid bare again after what he did recently.
The ex-Ibrox winger made the summer switch to the Turkish giants as a free agent after being shown the door by Michael Beale but has been forced to cut an isolated figure at the club because of a lack of minutes.
Kent has managed just 44 minutes of league action since playing 85 minutes in the opener of the campaign – with the majority of his game time coming in the Europa Conference League.

The October international break proved his real chance to impress his new boss İsmail Kartal with several of their key stars on duty for their countries – having been challenged to improve.
However, the latest social media move from the wide man hints that tensions may well have flared already at his new club and he could yet call it quits very soon.
On Kent’s Instagram account, it appears he’s deleted all his posts about Fenerbahce, also unfollowing them as well as any mention of the club, with some snaps from his time at Ibrox still on show.

The former high-profile Ibrox star certainly misses his time at Rangers, but it was his decision to call it quits having failed to sign or agree to any contract extension.
While, of course, it can be tough for a foreign player to adapt to a new league, new environment and new lifestyle when they take the leap into a new challenge, Kent will be frustrated with how his time has begun.
In terms of playtime in the Super Lig, Kent has managed just 1.1 90s, per FBRef, which places him 17th in the squad for game time.
It’s believed that Kent was promised game-time ahead of his move but that hasn’t been kept which means his frustrations are totally justified.

Will Rangers take him back right now if they had the opportunity? Considering the failures of some of Beale’s summer signings, some Light Blues fans would jump at the chance but any possibility of that happening is zilch given the way his tenure at the club ended.
But this latest episode in his Fenerbache drama proves the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. He may well be finished in Turkey already.
In other Rangers news, one inconsistent Ibrox defender must improve under Clement all be shown the Auchenhowie exit door in January.
