Chris Sutton takes another swipe at Rangers star Todd Cantwell

Chris Sutton has taken yet another swipe at Todd Cantwell on Twitter as his feud with the Rangers star continues after podcast appearances.

Cantwell called Sutton an “attention seeker” in a recent appearance on “The Beautiful Game” podcast, to which Sutton responded saying he was “away with the fairies” on his “It’s All Coming Up” podcast.

But Sutton took another swipe when promoting that latest episode on his personal Twitter account (19 October), ensuring he once again has the last word in their feud.

“At a time when most Rangers players are keeping their heads down and concentrating on what matters and that’s actual football, Todd likes to talk about Todd and how so many people are so wrong about him..” he wrote.

Boring

This is a really boring feud at this point, and I hate to say it but I have to agree with Sutton now.

Cantwell is a great player and has the talent and ability to help Rangers get back to where they belong. But going back and forth on social media is not going to help him do that.

Rangers

Sutton isn’t the most popular guy with Rangers and we all know that he is a Celtic man, so will take digs at Rangers whenever he gets the opportunity to do so.

But until we start being a success on the pitch again, it’s not worth responding to him on a public forum. Just get your head down and get the job done o the pitch.

Once we do that, Cantwell won’t need to respond on social media anymore. He can point to his medals and Sutton’s words will go quiet immediately.
