Philippe Clement tweets image from Auchenhowie as new Rangers boss shares what he loves at Ibrox
Philippe Clement has tweeted a photo of himself in Rangers training at Auchenhowie as he shared what he loves at Ibrox.
The new Gers boss posted on Tuesday (17 October) that he loves the “passion” for the club after completing his first day of training.
The Belgian was appointed to replace Michael Beale in the Light Blues hot seat on Sunday (15 October) after coming out on top ahead of Kevin Muscat in the final interviews.
Raring to go
It looks as though Clement is raring to go at Rangers after being appointed as the new boss following a two-work process to find Beale’s successor.
There is certainly a lot of passion from those associated with the club and the Belgian appears to have already learned that after just two days in charge.
He will be keen to get to work with the players on the training ground this week as he looks to turn around the Gers’ fortunes following a disappointing start to the campaign.
Clement will be desperate to get off to a good start when the Light Blues face Hibernian in the SPFL on Saturday (21 October) at Ibrox.
He has a big job on his hands trying to claw back the seven-point deficit on Celtic in the league, but he will be confident he has enough time to achieve that goal.
In other Rangers news, the club are looking to appoint a “starfinder” to spearhead their recruitment.
