Philippe Clement spotted as new Rangers manager pictured ahead of first day at Auchenhowie
Philippe Clement has been spotted arriving for his first day as Rangers manager, with pictures emerging of the Belgian pulling up at Auchenhowie, as shared by the Daily Record.
The newspaper shared on its website on Monday (16 October, 8:40) a photo of the new Light Blues boss arriving in his car at the Rangers training centre for his first day of work having been appointed as the new Ibrox boss on Sunday (15 October).
Clement will meet the squad for the first time on Monday, barring those currently on international duty and will take training as the Light Blues continue to prepare for their return to Scottish Premiership action against Hibernian on Saturday (21 October).

Get to work
After two weeks without a permanent manager at the helm, it is time for Clement to get his hands dirty and begin to get to know his Rangers side, with the former Club Brugge boss facing the task of getting this struggling team back up and running after a poor start to the campaign.
While he may not have a full squad to work with from the off, first impressions can be some of the most important so Clement has to ensure that he can get this team on his side so that they are willing to run through brick walls for both him and the football club.
Luckily for the Belgian, he has a full week to work with his side before they next play and that should give him plenty of time to assess the lay of the land and decide how best to set up his side for their clash with Hibs at Ibrox so that he can get off to the perfect start in Glasgow.

Following the international break, the fixtures come thick and fast for the Light Blues as they face two games a week almost every seven days until the November international break, so this could be one of the only real opportunities Cement gets to spend valuable training time with his new team.
Hopefully, both today and on Saturday at Ibrox things run smoothly and Clement will settle in well, the Rangers board have backed him to succeed over Kevin Muscat so the Belgian will now need to justify that decision with his work both on the training pitch and matchdays.
