Official Rangers partner reacts to Nicolas Raskin comments in last 24 hrs, tells him to shut up
Nicolas Raskin has been told to shut up and get his head down for Rangers after publicly claiming he sees the club as a stepping stone for his career.
The Belgian midfielder joined the Gers last January and has become a key member of the squad since, with many seeing him as the best option in that role at the club right now.
But after admitting to local media that Rangers is “just a step” in his plan to move to the Premier League, the club’s official partner Four Lads Had A Dream have reacted angrily and told him to get his head down and be a success at Ibrox before he starts talking about leaving.
“With regards to Raskin ‘Having a plan in his head,’ they wrote on their personal Twitter account (13 October).
“No issues with any player having aspirations to be the best and play in top leagues.
“Become a winner here first however, start being a 9/10 every week then aim for everything else.
“Until then shut the [expletive] up and get your head down for the team.”
Terrible
There’s no doubting that Raskin is a top young midfielder and someone who makes the Rangers team better, but he’s hardly earned himself a move away at this stage.
Currently he’s the best of a bad bunch in midfield because performances haven’t been even nearly good enough, and that’s why Michael Beale is no longer the manager.

He has the talent to go to the highest level, and if he can turn in the performances at Ibrox the fans aren’t going to begrudge him a move to play elsewhere. But he has to do it here first.
Glen Kamara said something similar a while ago and then couldn’t even get in our team and is now playing in the Championship in England, so the reality check will surely be hitting him hard.
Raskin has to avoid doing that to himself and just focus on performing well for Rangers, and then the rest will come in the course of his career.
